The couple took over the inn just three miles outside of Pembroke on the road to the Texaco refinery and have made it one of the premier local venues for foot-tapping Irish entertainment. |
|
Jim hails originally from Co. Waterford, while Bunny comes from the south of England, so South Pembrokeshire was an ideal compromise between their two cultures. |
|
The Speculation Inn, with a new pool room, a traditional cosy snug bar with a real roaring real fire and a wide range of memorabilia from Ireland as well as a lazy lounge where locals and visitors can enjoy their favourite tipples, including drought real ales like Double Dragon and Worthingtons Best, Stowford's press cider, Carling lager, Beamish Beer and naturally Guinness, poured slowly in the traditional Irish way. |

Outside the couple have created a beer garden, car park and paddock area where patrons can chat to a menagerie of animals including rabbits, ducks and the two family horses Patrick and Willy. |

The 35 seater dining room has a tasty menu of traditional and pub grup on offer. |
