Many appointments have been made in the past without following an appropriate procedure, however time will tell if any shenanigans have been going on. UPDATE A local resident who saw the advert in the Tenby Observer and the website article has informed us that she contacted Mrs Williams regarding applying for the position. She was also informed the post had been filled at a Council meeting on the 9th June 2008. The potential applicant had taken an active interest in the goings on at St Florence and was concerned that the appointment of a new Clerk was not on the Agenda for the 9th of June meeting. Mrs Williams further informed the potential applicant that two people who had applied for the position on seeing the advertisement had been interviewed over the weekend.
